  Our on-site car park means you can drive along the coastal roads, or for those who want to fasten those hiking boots and explore on foot, come back to the pub after and indulge in a well earned drink in our cosy pub or our neighbourhood garden.

The Beaches (0.2 miles)

If you love being by the sea. We’re fortunate to have some fantastic beaches close to our hotel, the two closest being Canford Cliffs, just a three minute walk away and Branksome Chine, just a 14 minutes walk.

Both are blue flag beaches, and home to some of the oldest beach huts in Europe, they play the perfect backdrop for your holiday snaps. 

Brownsea Island (6.2 miles)

Accessible only by boat, this beautiful island is owned by The National Trust and sits in the middle of Poole Harbour. 

If you’re bringing the family along, this island provides the perfect day’s adventure with tree-climbing trails, Tracker Packs and a natural play area. 

Compton Acres (0.5 miles)

Take a leafy stroll through Compton Acres, one of the finest privately owned gardens in England.

With 10 acres of beautiful gardens, including a stunning Italian garden, rock and water gardens, and a Japanese garden to while away those lazy-afternoons. You can also relax in their charming café and tea rooms.

Moors Valley Park

Enjoy over 80 acres of woodland and farmland at the famous Moors Valley Country Park. This attraction is perfect for high energy kids and their wagging tailed companion. From tree top trails to segwaying, GoApe and so much more.
